FIGHTING FOR A CAUSE ONE DAY AT A TIME!
We have a problem. 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lives. Thats over 280,000 women in the US alone in 2021! More women are more likely to die from breast cancer than any other cancer besides lung cancer.
Those statistics are STAGGERING and sobering. For as much awareness that has been raised regarding breast cancer, there is still so much that needs to be done before we can find a cure.
Great news! There are organizations working on a solution and that's why I am proud to be a Susan G Komen Pink Tie Guy.
The Pink Tie Guys campaign engages local community leaders as representatives in the fight against breast cancer. During this campaign, each Pink Tie Guy (like me!) will raise funds to ensure women and men in the Houston community have access to essential breast health services and groundbreaking breast cancer research.
Even $5 can help us in the fight against the disease that touches so many of our lives. That's a trip to Starbucks people! If every person who follows this account donated their coffee money for the day, we would raise over $58,000 in a day!
