One of my favorite things about my job is that I get to work with such a variety of different clients and see how they express themselves through their weddings. Michelle was recommended to us by a good friend and happens to be a talented interior designer. She was so excited about the process of making her dress a part of her wedding.
She came in thinking that she wanted to have a sweetheart, strapless top, but happened to spy one of our day dresses with a draped detail at the shoulder. "I want that!" she said, and we were off!

Michelle loves pink and we briefly debated whether or not her gown should be the palest shade of pink, but in the end, we decided that a soft, natural white would be just the thing against the lush backdrop of The Bryn Mawr near Columbus, OH.
It was the perfect choice now that I see how she used pale pink throughout the rest of the wedding.
We included bits of lace from Michelle's grandmother in the design
I mean, how genius are these kumquats in orange as an accent????!!!
Working with Michelle was such a pleasure! She trusted the process, but asked lots of questions along the way, which helped us give her a dress she would love. I'm blown away by the final result and am so glad that we were able to be a part of such an important and beautiful day!
