If you don't know about our Fashion Film Fest, we host an in-person screening on the 3rd Tuesday of every month in the store. Some of you don't live in Houston or cannot come, so I thought I'd bring the films to you each month!

The idea of escaping has followed me all summer. This heat wave is just here in Houston, so sometimes that escape needs to just be the indoor, air conditioned type. Here are four shows that I'm watching to help me dream of cooler climates and stunning scenery. 

I don’t know about you, but there are certain movies that seem especially right at this time of year. Some of them are because they are specifically about the holidays and others because they just feel like the spirit of the season. I grew up watching these and I plan to make sure that my kids do the same. We’ve already gotten started on a few of them and so far, so good!

I’ve been wanting to do a TV post for a long time and I’m finally getting around to doing it. I probably watch WAY too much TV, but every time I think it’s too much, I remind myself that I also used to read about 10-15 books a week when I was younger. TV is totally my new book. Plus, I tend to fall asleep now when I read. So anti-climactic. On the list of #lifegoals is getting back to reading more. For now, there’s just way too much GOOD TV.

Later, I’ll do a post on TV that changed me as a person, but because it’s summer, I thought that I would focus this one on what I’m watching now, just finished watching, or is on my watch list.
