David's World

This week in the kitchen, we are whipping up another tasty recipe: Cajun Style Crawfish. If you are cooking for the family, hosting a party, or just need a quick meal idea, you can always find simple mouthwatering recipes RIGHT HERE.
We are introducing David's top 9, a round up of my favorite things from beauty to home and everything in between. Hop on board if you want to find out what I have been swooning over and some of my very favorite things I use in my own life.
Nothing to whine about here because we are talking about all things wine. With Valentine's this month, I figured "wine" not share some of my favorite red wines that I typically go to or have just recently tried.
Planning a party is like a piece of cake, up until the word "wedding" is thrown in there. The wedding gown is picked out, bridesmaids are sorted and the groom is good to go – but what about mom? Moms struggle with what they should wear, what's appropriate, and most of all, they are usually trying to coordinate with another mom (or more!). This can be all kinds of confusing. And STRESSFUL.

Welcome to a brand new series that I'm calling Peck University, or #PeckU. Why, you ask, is this necessary? It's because there are a many questions that come up when we meet with clients that seem to be either misconceptions or things that people genuinely don't know about how clothes are made.

"I come back stronger than a 90's trend" No, we are not talking about plaid or scrunchies. We are talking about Tiaras.

Let's face it. We've probably already lost sight of our New Year's Resolutions, and January isn't even over yet. That's what so hard about have resolutions that arbitrarily start on January 1st.

Instead of beating yourself up for already failing, think of your goals as a year-long process. You can gradually build up habits that get you to where you want to be throughout the year. It doesn't have to happen all at once, and you aren't a failure if you let your guard down one week.

While the shadow of 2020 still looms, I'm so excited about what is to come this year. Yes, the changing of the calendar year is mostly symbolic and we can resolve to change at any times, but symbols are important. Also, deadlines and dates work to help keep us accountable.

I asked the team to tell us about what their resolutions were for 2021. It's already looking like is shaping up to be a great year!

I don't want a resolution. I want a revelation!

Get the reference?

More than words. The last few years have taught me many things, but one of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is how powerful our intentions are. Instead of New Year’s resolutions, I choose a word. That helps me focus on my intention for the year. Last year, my word was Abundance. I focused on being abundant in everything that we did. Little did I know that we would be abundantly making masks for so long!

I asked our team what each of their favorite Christmas / Holiday movies were. This season is typically filled with magic – something we hope to focus on as we draw a close to this unpredictable year.

It’s the holiday season, so hoop-de-do and Dickory dock! Today, we have a simple holiday how-to for you.

This is for all of our minimal chic, or more is more kind of friends and we can’t wait to show you how you can use your fabric napkins as a decorative element to your table setting or dinner.

We will walk you through step by step on how to so you can feel like Martha Stewart during the holidays.

This year instead of 12 days of gifting, we are spinning the classic 12 Days of Christmas into an outfit guide. Here’s our version of 12 Days of Outfits!

On the 1st day of outfits David picked for me…

How to get the gifts you really want. This one is for the guys in your life! For all you ladies out there worried about what your husbands, boyfriends, or fathers may get you this year. No worries, just forward him this post and relax, knowing we have your back.
